On arrival: Guests arriving at the required airport on the check-in day will be met by a representative, wearing a uniform and holding a sign representing the boat for your trip. The meeting point is at the main exit after you have collected your luggage.
Transfers to and from the liveaboard: Transfers to and from the boat and to the local airport will be arranged in accordance with your flight time, wherever possible. We aim to have everyone onboard by 9 am on arrival day and we will leave port as soon as all the clients are on board.
Diving
- 2 - 3 diving per day
- Diving in Indonesia: Emperor recommends a maximum diving depth of 40 meters. Your maximum diving depth will be dependent on your level of training and experience. It is your responsibility to check what depths your insurance policy covers you before your arrival. Unpredictable and strong currents are to be expected anytime, but especially in periods of new and full moons. We recommend that you are certified to 30 meters and are comfortable with drift dives. Decompression diving, solo diving, and technical diving are strictly prohibited.
Check-out begins early morning on the day of disembarkation and all guests are required to disembark no later than midday.
Marine Life: At least 75 percent of all coral species can be found in Raja Ampat, divers can expect a range of topography from soft corals and sea fans, to hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, deep drop-offs, caves, black sand, and white sand. Giant manta rays, sea turtles, sharks, cuttlefish, pipefish, various seahorse species, and massive schools of reef fish are the norm, plus the delightful wobbegong sharks and Epaulette sharks inhabit these waters too.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around 4 pm. Divers are recommended to wait for 24hours before flying after the last dive.
