This unforgettable journey takes you from the wild, remote reaches of the Deep South all the way through the heart of the Maldives, finishing in the bustling capital region of Malé. Designed for experienced divers seeking variety, adrenaline, and exploration, this one-way itinerary delivers a rich combination of dramatic channel dives, vibrant coral gardens, shark action, and even historical wrecks.
The trip begins with a domestic flight from Malé to Kooddoo on the departure day, and concludes with disembarkation in Malé. Along the way, you’ll experience a wide range of diving environments across nine diverse atolls.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Check-in (Kooddoo)
Guests will arrive via domestic flight from Malé to Kooddoo and board the liveaboard between 12:00 and 16:00. After settling in, there will be a welcome briefing, safety orientation, and check dive (if conditions permit).
Days 2 – 10 – Diving Highlights
Over the next nine days, you’ll experience a spectacular variety of diving across the Maldives’ southern and central atolls, with up to 26 dives offered during the trip. Nitrox is highly recommended for this trip.
- Huvadhoo Atoll – Known for its deep channels and thrilling shark dives, with sightings of grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and barracuda schools.
- Fuvahmulah Atoll – A true oceanic island where tiger sharks, thresher sharks, and other pelagics are frequent visitors.
- Addu Atoll – Dive the historic wreck of the British Loyalty, and visit one of the country's top manta cleaning stations.
- Laamu & Thaa Atolls – Explore healthy coral reefs, thilas, and current-swept channels teeming with life.
- Meemu & Felidhu Atolls – Channel diving at its finest, with shark sightings and dynamic drift dives.
- South & North Male Atoll – End your adventure with vibrant reef dives, schooling fish, and top coral sites near the capital region.
Day 11 – Check-out (Malé)
Following an early breakfast, guests will disembark in Malé. Check-out is at 07:00, with onward travel arrangements as scheduled.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
