Sample Itinerary
DAY 1:
Guests will start their adventure with a boat safety and dive briefing upon check-in on board, as the boat sails north for a check dive at Sebayur Kecil in the afternoon.
DAY 2:
Spend the day exploring the northern area of Komodo National Park and enjoy some of the most famous and fish-rich dive sites, such as Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, and Shotgun. At the end of the day, guests have the option to do a beautiful reef night dive or join a sunset trek on Gili Lawa Darat.
DAY 3:
Say hello to the turtles at Siaba Besar, drift along the beautiful reefscape of Tatawa Besar, and witness the thriving reef life at Tatawa Kecil. Later, we head to the northern bay of Rinca Island for an exciting muck night dive at Wae Nilu.
DAY 4:
Start the day diving the colorful pinnacle of Pengah Kecil, then look out for reef manta rays at Mawan Island. In the afternoon, we sail slightly south towards Padar Island for a change of scenery. Secret Garden is home to vibrant black coral bushes along its mini wall and cool macro critters like giant frogfish, seahorses, and more!
Guests can choose between a night dive at Padar Kecil—featuring a mix of reef and sandy bottom and perfect for encounters with cephalopods such as bobtail squid, white-v octopus, starry night octopus, and a variety of nudibranchs—or a sunset trek on Padar Island to enjoy its famous panoramic bay views.
DAY 5:
Expect more vibrant marine life during drift dives at Siaba Kecil and Karang Makassar, also known as Manta Point. On a good day, you could spend nearly your entire dive observing manta rays gracefully feeding or cleaning in the current. And last but not least, we’ll immerse ourselves in the fishiest and most colorful pinnacle in Komodo National Park, Batu Bolong.
The last dive of the day will be around 2–3 pm, allowing time to rinse and dry dive gear before departure the next day. At sunset, we will anchor near Kalong Island to watch thousands of fruit bats flying against the colorful evening sky.
DAY 6:
Guests will complete their trip with a morning trek to experience a face-to-face encounter with the world’s largest lizard—the Komodo Dragon. Afterward, guests will return on board to finish packing as the boat sails back to port for disembarkation around lunchtime.
Marine Life: Bumphead parrot fish, bamboo sharks, marble rays, nudibranchs, dusky sharks, jawfish, bubble coral shrimps, leaf fish, porcelain crabs, pygmy seahorses, schools of barracudas, trevally, and mackerel, white tips, black tips, grey reef sharks, turtles, octopus, frogfish, manta rays, dugong, banded pipefishes, mandarin fishes, Wonderpus, Indian Walkman.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
