Explore the exceptional biodiversity of the Alor archipelago, one of the rare places where you can find pristine reefscapes, unique macro critters, and occasional pelagic surprises such as thresher shark & scalloped hammerhead shark all in one trip.
Sailing area:
Alor archipelago and further west to Adonara and Lembata, with an option to Komba Volcanic Island (if weather permits).
What to expect on this trip:
Both macro & wide-angle dives & dolphin/whale watching during surface intervals.
Possible land activities:
Traditional village and beach visit.
Sample Itinerary
DAY 1: Alor (Kalabahi)
Guests will embark and have lunch on board. Followed by a boat and safety briefing, a dive briefing, and a check dive in the afternoon.
DAY 2-6: (Alor, Adonara, and/or Lembata)
3-4 dives per day.
DAY 7: Alor
2 dives only.
DAY 8: Alor (Kalabahi)
Guests will have a light breakfast and disembark in the morning.
Marine Life: Swarms of anthias, schools of fusiliers, surgeons and snappers, rays and patrolling grey reef sharks, barracudas, snake eels, mantis shrimps, octopus, bobbit worms, flying gurnard, lionfish and rhinopias.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
