Embark on an unforgettable 8-day liveaboard adventure to the Brothers Islands in the Red Sea, one of the most renowned diving destinations in Egypt. From the moment you board in Port Ghalib, you’ll explore pristine coral reefs, historic shipwrecks, and the abundant marine life that makes these islands legendary among divers. Big Brother and Little Brother rise dramatically from the deep sea, offering dramatic walls, vibrant soft corals, and opportunities to encounter apex predators like sharks in their natural habitat. With multiple dives each day and breathtaking views of the iconic Brothers Lighthouse, this trip promises an immersive and unforgettable Red Sea experience.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival / Boarding
- Check-in: 10:00 AM
- Board the liveaboard and get settled in your cabin.
- Welcome briefing, safety orientation, and itinerary overview.
- Afternoon at leisure; enjoy the sunset on deck.
- No diving today.
Days 2–7 – Diving at the Brothers Islands
- Sail to the Brothers Islands (Big Brother and Little Brother), located about 60 km off the Egyptian coast.
- Explore colorful coral reefs of various shapes and sizes, teeming with tropical fish and soft corals.
- Dive famous shipwrecks:
- Aida Wreck: South-east coast of Big Brother, one of the most visited shipwrecks in the Red Sea.
- Numidia Wreck: Crashed into the rocks on Big Brother, renowned for its spectacular marine life.
Encounter sharks, including hammerheads, gray sharks, silver sharks, and white-tip reef sharks. Little Brother offers high concentrations of marine life in shallow walls covered with sponges, anemones, and soft corals. Spot abundant tropical fish and other Red Sea species in a pristine underwater environment. See the Brothers Islands Lighthouse, active since the 19th century, and enjoy scenic views of these iconic islands. Dive plan: 3–4 dives per day (2–3 dives on the penultimate day), with optional night dives. Day 8 – Disembarkation / Departure

- Disembark and an optional visit to the nearby town or marina before departure.
The Brothers Islands are home to a spectacular variety of marine life. Divers can expect to see hammerhead sharks, gray sharks, silver sharks, and white-tip reef sharks, along with abundant tropical fish and reef species. The islands’ walls are covered with soft corals, sponges, and anemones, creating vibrant underwater gardens. Shipwrecks like the Numidia and Aida attract schools of fish and provide habitat for diverse marine creatures, while the shallow reefs of Little Brother teem with colorful reef fish, turtles, and other iconic Red Sea species.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
