Possible Main Sites:
- SHA'AB EL ERG: A beautiful horseshoe-shaped reef where schools of dolphins regularly pass by on the outer reef or in the lagoon. We will do our refresher dive there. We can observe them either while diving or snorkeling.
- Level: Easy • Depth: 15m • Photo: Wide-angle
- DUNRAVEN (WRECK): This 80-meter British ship sank in 1876 after striking a reef near Sha'ab Mahmoud. Resting at a depth of 30 meters, the wreck is divided into two parts, with its inverted hull covered in coral. Divers can explore its open holds, home to schools of surgeonfish, soldierfish, and moray eels.
- Level: Med/Conf • Depth: 30m • Photo: Wide Angle
- RAS MOHAMED: A Nature reserve located at the southern tip of Sinai, the final separation between the Gulf of Aqaba and the Gulf of Suez. The water masses of the two straits meet and generate strong currents. Numerous pelagic fish (schools of barracuda, snapper, etc.) swim on this steep drop-off.
- Level: Medium • Depth: 30m • Photo: Wide angle
- JACKSON REEF: After following the reef towards the plateau to the west, you will see large gorgonians. You will surely encounter a turtle on the plateau (20m) that separates Jackson from Woodhouse; they are very common there. The current can be quite strong, bringing pelagic fish to the drop-off and sometimes even above the plateau. Further away, a very large school of gregarious bannerfish and blue triggerfish.
- Level: Medium • Depth: 30m • Photo: Wide angle
- GORDON REEF: Along the eastern drop-off, looking into the "blue," you can see sandbar sharks that don't seem to be bothered by the current, quite the opposite. Then, if you head south, going back up onto the shelf, you should see a pretty little sandbar occupied by a colony of garden eels, standing upright. Further on, a very large school of gregarious bannerfish and blue triggerfish.
- Level: Easy • Depth: 20m • Photo: Macro / G.A.
- BLUE HOLE: A legendary site in the Egyptian Sinai, the Blue Hole of Dahab is a dizzying vertical underwater well plunging to -130 meters. Considered one of the most dangerous and fascinating dive sites in the world, this coral sinkhole offers a unique experience for experienced divers. The natural arch at -56 meters represents a formidable technical challenge. The marine biodiversity includes rare pelagic species and spectacular coral formations.
- Level: Intermediate • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro/G.A
- THE CANYON: Spectacular geological formation with a deep underwater canyon. Technical dive between 20 and 40 meters, characterized by vertical rock walls. Rich marine biodiversity with sandbar sharks, whitetip sharks, eagle rays, and dense populations of grouper. The cavities and overhangs provide refuge for numerous species of reef fish and marine invertebrates.
- Level: Easy • Depth: 30m • Photo: Wide-angle
- GABR BENT: Gabr El Bint is a spectacular site located near Dahab. Composed of a steep drop-off and a shallow plateau, it offers incredible biodiversity. Abundant hard and soft corals, schools of colorful fish, and passing pelagics make it an ideal spot for diving and underwater photography.
- Level: Easy • Depth: 20m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- THOMAS REEF: The smallest of the four but the richest! Grey and hammerhead sharks are frequently seen on the north face, where you can admire numerous gorgonians and alcyonarians. The east face is also exceptional. On the northeast corner, at a depth of about thirty meters, begins a beautiful narrow canyon with several arches. The dive ends on a large plateau overlooking this vertical drop-off. Turtles are very common. You will finish your dive in the magnificent coral garden in the ten-meter zone, among sweetlips, emperors, butterfly fish, and jacks.
- Level: Medium • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- JACKFISH ALLEY: An iconic site in Ras Mohammed National Park, characterized by a spectacular underwater canyon. A dive between 5 and 30 meters offers a varied experience. Renowned for its impressive schools of jackfish in close formation. Frequent encounters with napoleons, barracudas, and the occasional gray shark. Walls covered with multicolored soft corals and giant gorgonians. The site is accessible to all levels, with generally moderate currents.
- Level: Easy. • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- THISTLEGORM: This English cargo ship sank on October 6, 1941, when it was bombed by German aircraft while transporting munitions and war materials (trucks, cars, motorcycles, etc.). You can see all these remains, which are still present in the wreck. It is one of the most famous wrecks in the world.
- Level: Intermediate • Depth: 30m • Photo: Wide angle
- THE GHIANNIS D (WRECK): A 100m long, 2,900 ton cargo ship, Egypt 10-Night Cruise, sunk in 1983. It was sailing between Croatia and Yemen and transporting timber.
- Level: Easy • Depth: 20m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- CARLESS REEF: Isolated coral reef among the most beautiful sites in the Hurghada region, with magnificent coral gardens. Drift dives between 10 and 20 meters. Excellent site for observing gray sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and eagle rays. Spectacular soft corals and gorgonians. Large populations of reef fish, groupers, and schools of barracuda.
- Level: Medium • Depth: 20m • Photo: Wide-angle
- BIG BROTHERS SOUTHERN PLATEAU: One of the most beautiful dives in the Brothers. This is the main playground for Egyptian underwater wildlife. You can encounter thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, gray sharks, and manta rays. Soft and hard corals cover the drop-off, mainly gorgonians.
- Level: Medium/Conf. • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- SMALL BROTHER'S SOUTHERN PLATEAU: We will descend to 35/40m above the northern plateau. This is where you will have the best chance of observing gray sharks and hammerhead sharks. It's even possible to encounter a manta ray and/or a sunfish (Mola-mola). We will then leave the plateau and the deep zone to head (following the current) to the western drop-off, which is teeming with life, with alcyonarians of all colors, magnificent gorgonians, and an extremely varied fauna: groupers, barracudas, and more. On this islet, you have the chance to see an incredible number of shark species: grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, silky sharks, hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, and, of course, often near the surface, the one you've all been waiting for: the oceanic whitetip shark.
- Level: Medium/Conf. • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro / G.A
- DAEDALUS: Daedalus, an isolated jewel of the Red Sea, is a legendary dive site located off the coast of mainland Egypt, halfway between Cairo and Marsa Alam. This spectacular ocean reef, barely above the surface, offers a unique and extraordinary diving experience for experienced divers.
- Level: Med/Conf • Depth: 40m • Photo: Macro / G.A
