Program Disclaimer We wish to show you the best diving possible; however, a number of factors determine which route the Cruise Director and Captain will choose and which dive sites we visit. Weather conditions, tides, currents and the number of other dive vessels at a particular site all play a part in where the boat is heading to. While we attempt to ensure the number of dives we have scheduled is fulfilled, bad weather can hinder the yacht’s ability to reach a specific dive site in our scheduled time. The safety of all on board is paramount and we always do our best to offer diving at alternative sites, should we be unable to visit the sites listed below. A Typical Day The diving day has a typical schedule as follows: ● 06:00 Wake-up call ● 06:30 - 07:00 Light breakfast followed by a briefing and Dive 1 ● 08:30 Full breakfast, relaxation period ● 10:30 Briefing and Dive 2 ● 12:30 Lunch, relaxation period ● 14:30 Briefing and Dive 3 ● 16:00 Snack, relaxation period ● 19:00 Dinner (If we offer a sunset or night-dive, the schedule will be slightly amended.) Embarkation: Labuan Bajo, Komodo Airport (LBJ) Disembarkation: Alor, Alor Airport (ARD) Transfers: Complimentary airport transfers are provided from Komodo Airport (LBJ) to the vessel on Day 1, and from the vessel to the Alor Airport(ARD) on Day 10. Detailed Itinerary (ML) This is a sample itinerary. The itinerary may be altered based on the weather and sea conditions. Day 1: Embarkation in Labuan Bajo & Check Dive • Afternoon: Board the vessel at Labuan Bajo harbor. Settle into your air- conditioned cabin, enjoy a welcome drink, and attend a comprehensive safety and itinerary briefing from our crew and dive guide. • Late Afternoon: We set sail to a sheltered site like Sebayur for your check dive. This gentle dive allows you to test your equipment, acclimate to the water, and explore a vibrant coral garden teeming with reef fish. • Evening: Enjoy a welcome dinner under the stars as we begin our journey towards the heart of Komodo National Park. Day 2: Rinca's Dragons & Manta Rays • Morning (2 Dives): Dive into the action at world-famous manta cleaning stations like Mawan or Manta Sandy. Witness the graceful dance of oceanic Manta Rays as they glide effortlessly through the blue. • Mid-Day: Go ashore on Rinca Island for a guided trek. Walk through a Jurassic landscape in search of the formidable Komodo Dragon and other wildlife like water buffalo and deer. • Afternoon (1 Dive): Conduct a third dive in South Rinca, exploring sites known for rich soft coral growth and encounters with reef sharks and large schools of fish. • Evening: Relax on the sundeck and share stories of your encounters with dragons and mantas. Day 3: Komodo's Heart: Padar Peak & Coral Cathedrals • Morning (2 Dives): Prepare for a highlight at Batu Bolong, Komodo's legendary underwater pinnacle. This site offers an unforgettable spectacle of breathtaking coral coverage and relentless fish action amidst strong currents. • Mid-Day: Hike to the summit of Padar Island. The short but rewarding climb is compensated with one of Indonesia's most iconic views—a stunning panorama of three distinct, crescent-shaped bays. • Afternoon (1 Dive): Enjoy a relaxing dive at a site like Tatawa Besar, drifting along a beautiful slope of giant sea fans and healthy hard corals. Day 4: Northern Thrills & Volcanic Wonders • Morning (2 Dives): Experience the world-class drifts of North Komodo. Dive at Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, where nutrient-rich currents attract massive schools of fish, sharks, and rays, creating a true underwater adrenaline rush. • Afternoon (1 Dive): Venture to the Sanggeang Volcano area. Dive at sites like Hot Rocks or Lighthouse, where you can experience unique geothermal activity, with streams of warm bubbles rising from the seabed. • Sunset: Visit the local Bonto Village at the base of the volcano for a glimpse into traditional Indonesian coastal life. • Evening (1 Dive): Conduct a spectacular night dive in the volcanic area, where the unique conditions attract a bizarre and fascinating array of macro life. Day 5: The Secluded Reefs of Gili Banta • Full Day (3-4 Dives): Explore the remote and pristine reefs surrounding Gili Banta. Dive sites like Manta Banta and Roller Coaster offer stunning coral formations, deep walls, and the chance to encounter pelagic species like sharks and eagles rays in a secluded setting. • Evening: We begin our eastward passage towards the Riung Islands. Enjoy a serene sunset on deck. Day 6: Riung's "17 Islands" Marine Park • Full Day (4 Dives): Discover the tranquil beauty of Riung. Dive in the "17 Islands" Marine Park, exploring sites like Dragon Wall. This area features spectacular vertical drop-offs, exceptional water clarity, and incredibly healthy hard coral gardens, offering a more relaxed pace. Day 7: Maumere's Muck Diving Paradise • Full Day (4 Dives): Immerse yourself in the muck diving capital of Maumere Bay. At legendary sites like Angel's Dream, scour the black sand slopes for rare and exotic critters, including the Rhinopias, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Ghost Pipefish, and a stunning variety of nudibranchs. A macro photographer's dream. Day 8: Pangabatang & The Journey to Alor • Morning (2 Dives): Conduct your final dives along the Flores coastline at Pangabatang Island. These sites often feature complex reef structures, abundant coral fish, and frequent sightings of turtles and reef sharks. • Afternoon & Evening: We commence the longer crossing towards Alor. This is a perfect time to relax, attend a photo editing workshop, or share stories with fellow divers in anticipation of the final frontier. Day 9: Alor's Pristine Underwater Treasures • Full Day (2-3 Dives): Arrive in the remote paradise, dive its world-class sites: 1. Kal's Dream: Explore a magnificent wall adorned with giant gorgonian sea fans, a famous spot for finding Pygmy Seahorses. 2. Anemone City: Drift over a vast garden of anemones, home to countless species of clownfish. 3. The Cathedral: Navigate through a stunning underwater archway and cave system, filled with light and life. • Beach/Top-deck BBQ(can be adjusted due to the weather condition): We land on a secluded beach for a classic barbecue celebration, a perfect way to reflect on the week's adventures. • Evening: Bill Settlement with Cruise Director after dinner Day 10: Disembarkation in Alor after breakfast • Morning: Savor a final breakfast on board as we arrive in Alor. • After Breakfast (approx. 9:00 AM): Bid a fond farewell to the crew and your new friends. Check out and transfer to Alor Airport (ARD) for your onward flights.
