This special itinerary explores both Central and Southern Komodo, offering a seasonal adventure into cooler, nutrient-rich waters teeming with life. While Central Komodo delivers colorful reefs and mantas, the south – especially around Nusa Kode and Horseshoe Bay – reveals a wilder, more remote side of the national park, ideal for those seeking something different.
Ideal for: Adventurous guests who want to dive deeper into wild Komodo, enjoy manta action, macro life, and remote beauty – especially during the Southern season when marine life gathers in cooler, rich waters.
- For Snorkelers: This itinerary is suitable for confident snorkelers. Central Komodo offers calm, shallow sites with mantas and turtles, while Southern spots may have cooler water and occasional swell, but also host fantastic coral gardens and frequent manta sightings at the surface.

Sample Itinerary:
Day 1: Labuan Bajo
- Upon arrival on the day of the safari start, guests will be met by an Eco Pro Divers staff member in front of the arrival exit, after baggage claim, at the international airport - easily recognizable by a sign reading "Eco Pro Divers" and boat name.
Days 2 - 7:
Possible Dive Sites:
- Manta Alley - the best place for manta sightings during the wet season.
- Cannibal Rock - a macro paradise and one of Komodo’s most biodiverse sites.
- Nusa Kode & Yellow Wall - dramatic walls covered in soft corals and critters.
- Hot Rocks - a geothermal reef dive with rising bubbles and unusual life.
- Abundant nudibranchs, frogfish, pygmy seahorses, and occasional whale rays.
- Still includes key Central Komodo sites like Batu Bolong, Tatawa, and Siaba.
Day 8: Labuan Bajo
- We will arrive in the morning in Labuan Bajo. You will be served breakfast and afterward transferred to the airport and checked in by the Eco Pro Divers staff. Your time on the Duyung and diving in the Komodo National Park will be wonderful, where some of the best diving in the world will be done.
Marine Life: Komodo offers current-swept pinnacles teeming with schooling fish, sharks, and pelagics, along with coral gardens and sloping reefs rich in macro life. Divers can explore famous sites such as Batu Bolong, Manta Point, and Tatawa Besar, all boasting high biodiversity with nudibranchs, frogfish, reef sharks, mantas, and turtles. The region also features manta cleaning stations and thrilling drift dives through narrow passages.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
