North Male Atoll - Lhaviyani Atoll - Noonu Atoll - Raa Atoll - Baa Atoll - Rasdhu Atoll - Ari Atoll
Journey through the North Male Atoll and cross the mighty Karshidu Channel to the Northern Atolls, known for their unique charm, spectacular dive sites, and diverse marine life.
Mantas can be encountered year-round on this itinerary, but from May to October, a slight variation includes Baa Atoll, home to Hanifaru Lagoon—a UNESCO Marine Reserve. During the southwest season (May to October), this lagoon becomes a gathering place for large numbers of manta rays and whale sharks feeding on plankton brought in by prevailing currents. While only snorkeling is permitted in Hanifaru, the experience is truly extraordinary.
The 7-night Wonders of the Northern Atolls trips focus on Baa Atoll, while the 10-night itineraries explore further into the Northern Atolls, revealing remarkable dive sites such as the Shark Nursery, Horobadhoo Thila, Shipwreck Graveyard, and Christmas Rock. Each dive showcases the Maldives' natural beauty and rich marine biodiversity. Manta cleaning stations are visited year-round, offering a highlight of any diving experience in the Maldives.
