日程安排
Day 1: Arrival at Sorong airport
Our Dive Master will escort you to the boat and starting the journey. Safety briefing, boat orientation, crew introduction, and necessary dive paperwork will be done before we set sail.
Day 2-7: Misool
This unique area of Raja Ampat is home to an abundance of marine life. We will visit well-known sites such as Farondi, Boo’s Window, Wayilbatan, Shadow Reef, and also the highlight of this trip will be swimming at Jellyfish lake. Besides diving, Misool also offers some of the finest snorkeling in the world, with brightly colored soft corals and huge Gorgonian sea fans, plenty of excursions in the speed boats to secluded lagoons and hidden areas of natural beauty on Misool Island.
Farondi: To the west side of Farondi, we will dive through the sea tunnel and then exiting on Farondi’s wall. Continue to descend to about 30 meters where the tunnel ends on the wall. It looks similar to the Blue Cave of the Passage area. Explore the wall and floor of the cave for interesting invertebrates like crabs, flatworms, and sea spiders.
Wayilbatan: Wayilbatan offers an excellent macro life including several species of Pygmy Seahorse, bobtail squid, candy crab, and Pikachu nudibranch. We then continue to the Sea Neptune’s Fan that when the current is strong, the surface water is very smooth and it’s easy to shoot wonderful images of the fan rising up toward a reflection of the island wall.
Boo’s Window: Here, we can see large Napoleon Wrasse, Green Turtles, and batfish. Known as the ‘’windows’’ or rounded openings on the southern end of the largest rock that completely pierce the reef from the surface down to about five meters. This “window” has been a favorite for the divers to take a self-photo.
Jellyfish Point: Here is the highlight of this trip where you can get a unique experience by swimming surrounded by a lot of jellyfish. And also because of its quite clear water, the jellyfish are also visible from the land.
Shadow Reef: Still in the Misool area before sailing to Ambon, we will dive in Shadow Reef with some great examples of sea fans where the oceanic manta ray, barracuda, napoleon wrasse, and sharks are often seen.
Day 8: Ambon
Thank you for having the Misool Journey with us.
Note: The total of diving and diving area is influenced by the weather and current condition, the captain and divemaster have a right to change the dive area for safety reasons.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24hours before flying after the last dive.
