Itinerary Outline

The following is an outline of the trip. We do not describe specific destinations as these are subject to change on a trip-by-trip basis.

Day 1

Spots : Halmahera

• Reception at Ternate airport, MSY Seahorse crew is standing by to welcome you onboard.
• Welcome drink, cabin allocation, and ship orientation, safety briefing, crew introduction, and necessary dive paperwork, will take place before departing.
• During the first day take this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the vessel and make yourself comfortable.

Day 2 - 10

• Diving (we aim for 3-day dives and 1-night dive per day).

POSSIBLE DIVE SITES:

• Ternate.
• Goraichi.
• Pantitie Strait.
• Bacan.
• Pisang.
• Missol.
• Daram.

Day 11:

• Diving maybe 1-2 dives depending on your flights the following day.
• The equipment was washed and hung to dry.
• Relax and enjoy the afternoon as we sail back to Sorong.
• Arrive in Sorong late PM/Early AM the following day.

Day 12:

• Breakfast.
• Disembark Sorong.
• Transfer to the airport in time for your flight.

 Marine Life: At least 75 percent of all coral species can be found in Raja Ampat, divers can expect a range of topography from soft corals and sea fans, to hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, deep drop-offs, caves, black sand, and white sand. Giant manta rays, sea turtles, sharks, cuttlefish, pipefish, various seahorse species, and massive schools of reef fish are the norm, plus the delightful wobbegong sharks and Epaulette sharks inhabit these waters too.

The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive. Sample itineraries and maps are for illustrative purposes only. The exact route and sites visited are subject to change based on local regulations, guest experience, weather, and logistics and are at the Captain’s discretion.
