Day One: Sorong – Check Dive In Black / Yum Slope
Arrive at the Dominique Edward OsokAirport. Our Dive Master will escort you to the boat and start the journey. Safety briefing, boat orientation, crew introduction, and necessary dive paperwork will be done before we set sail. Check dive will be done in Yum Slope which presents us wart slugs, flatworms, turtles and a robust ghost pipefish.

Day Two: Dampier Strait + Sawingkrai
Mikes Point, Sardine Reef, and Mioskon. Before the diving activities, we will take you to explore the Red Bird of Paradise at Sawingkrai Village. Diving in Mikes Point offers a Schooling of sweetlips, patrolling blacktip reef sharks and interesting small octopus and shrimp thrive. In Sardine Reef; fusiliers, surgeonfish, trevally, rainbow runners, bannerfish will crowd the open water and swarm over a reef decorated with sea fans. Mioskon Reef is a home for hundreds of lined snappers that usually cover the slope, schools of glassfish hide in coral bommies and wobbegong are very common here.

Day Three: Piaynemo Island
Trekking to Piaynemo will give you a stunning panorama from the top. While for the diving; Melissa’s Garden, Barracuda Reef and Anita’s Garden offer world-class diving with fantastic pretty walls with a lot of critters and well coral covered slopes and a huge amount of fish. Here is also a home of interesting species of clams, sea urchins, sea spiders, and crabs.

Day Four: Yanggefo Island (Myhem, Citrus Ridge, Gam Ridge, And Mangroves)
This area offers some truly unique environments to dive in. The vibrant orange soft corals of Citrus Ridge provide a stunning view at this site. This is a home to barracudas, bump-head parrotfish, and sea snakes. Myhem offers schools of batfish, surgeonfish, and snappers with the occasional Wobbegong sleeping under the coral heads. Gam Ridge is a good place to look for Eagle and Mobula rays. The Mangroves offer some stunning photo opportunities, diving late at around 4 PM when the sun is low will give an amazing light shaft on mangroves.

Day Five: Airborek Island (Manta Sandy, Manta Ridge, Airborek Jetty) + Lalosi Reef
Manta Sandy and Manta Ridge are the most reliable of Manta spots where you can find that beautiful animal somersaulting through the water while they are cleaned by several species of Wrasse and Butterflyfish. The Jetty at Airborek offers unique photo opportunities for the long wooden pillars covered with soft corals and sea fans. Airborne Jetty also offers one of the best night dive in Raja Ampat where Blue Ring Octopus, Harlequin Shrimp, and Wobbegong are often seen.

Day Six: Mansuar + Kri Island
Located in the center of Raja Ampat, this site supports a diverse reef biota where healthy reefs and a huge amount of fish are found. Here are also possible to see Mantas, Blacktip, Whitetip and Grey Reef sharks with large schools of barracuda, surgeonfish, bump-head parrotfish and many friendly turtles.

Day Seven: Sorong
We will reach the Sorong in the morning. Breakfast will be served and afterward prepare for disembarkation. Thank you for having the Raja Ampat Journey with us.
*the total of diving and diving area is influenced by the weather and current condition, the captain and divemaster have a right to change the dive area for safety reasons.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24hours before flying after the last dive.
