Itinerary Highlights
- Dive in the epicentre of the Coral Triangle – the most biodiverse marine area on Earth
- Encounter hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and pelagic action alongside pristine reefs
- Sunset dive for a chance to spot the elusive Mandarin fish in Banda Neira
- Explore the original Spice Islands and learn about their rich colonial history
Land excursions include:
- Banda Neira: Visit nutmeg plantations, historic forts, and the Maritime Museum
- Penemu Viewpoint: A scenic walk offering panoramic views over turquoise lagoons and limestone islets
Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Embarkation (Ambon)
- Upon arrival at the designated airport, guests will be greeted by a uniformed representative holding a sign for your boat.
- Hotel pick-ups (for guests already in Ambon) will be arranged before 09:00 (exact time confirmed the day prior).
- Check-in begins at 09:00 onboard.
- Once onboard:
- Safety briefing and crew introductions
- Completion of paperwork and dive certification check
- Cabin allocation and boat orientation
- Check dive in the afternoon to get comfortable with equipment and procedures
Day 2–Day 11: Diving & Exploration
- Enjoy 2 to 3 dives per day at world-class sites throughout Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea.
- Marine life highlights:
- Encounters with hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and other pelagics
- Mandarin fish sunset dive in Banda Neira
- Reefs bursting with colour, life, and unique macro species
Land-based highlights: Banda Neira excursion: Half-day tour exploring nutmeg plantations, colonial forts, and a small Maritime Museum Penemu Island hike: Take in the iconic lagoon views from the summit Day 12: Final Dives & Return to Sorong
- Two morning dives available (while adhering to the 24-hour no-fly rule)
- Return to port in Sorong by approximately 13:00
- Afternoon: Rinse and pack gear, relax onboard, and settle any outstanding bills
Day 13: Disembarkation
- Check-out begins early in the morning
- All guests must disembark by 09:00
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
