Considered one of the 7 wonders of the underwater world, the Red Sea is home to more than 1,000 species of invertebrates and over 200 species of soft and hard corals. This forms the basis for a marine ecosystem with 1,100 species of fish, 10% of which are unique, making it proportionally the largest number of fish in any body of water in the world.
The crystal clear waters offer unlimited opportunities to discover tropical marine life, from sharks and dolphins to gorgonians and feather stars.
There is plenty of choice when diving and depending on where you want to dive, you can find shallow coral reefs, drift dives on steep walls, or a collection of the most interesting wrecks you can find anywhere. In other places, the vibrant reefs extend far into the ocean, forming complex labyrinths of plateaus, lagoons, caves, and gardens.
