Embark on an unforgettable liveaboard journey exploring the remote northern atolls of the Maldives. This voyage takes you through the stunning atolls of Baa, Raa, Noonu, and Lhaviyani, where you’ll experience pristine reefs, vibrant marine life, and unique dive sites. The trip offers exceptional opportunities to see manta rays, whale sharks, and an abundance of tropical fish, all while cruising through some of the Maldives' most untouched waters.
Itinerary Highlights:
- Baa Atoll: Famous for its UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, home to incredible marine biodiversity, including manta rays and other pelagic species.
- Raa Atoll: Known for its lush coral gardens and vibrant marine life, perfect for divers and snorkelers.
- Noonu Atoll: A quieter, less-explored area, offering pristine reefs and great dive sites with an abundance of fish species.
- Lhaviyani Atoll: Renowned for its clear waters and healthy coral reefs, ideal for underwater exploration and encounters with marine life.
- Malé: The journey concludes in the capital, where you’ll have a chance to explore the vibrant city before heading home.
Important Travel Information:
- Domestic Flight: A domestic flight from Malé to Dharavandhoo is required at the start of the trip.
- Return Navigation: On the final day, there will be an 8-hour navigation from Baa Atoll to Malé.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1
- Airport transfers are scheduled for 12:30 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM on Saturdays.
- Welcome aboard, registration, and suite allocation.
- Crew introduction and safety meeting with Cruise Manager.
- Welcome Dinner at Al Fresco Restaurant.
Day 2 - 7
Typical a day onboard:
- Morning dive
- Yoga session
- Breakfast
- Followed by other dives (up to 4 dives per day including night dive where possible).
Day 8
- 06:00-08:00 Check-out and bills with Cruise Manager.
- 06:30 Breakfast.
- 07:00 First transfer to the airport.
- 08:45 Last Transfer to the airport.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
